19-Year-Old Dies After Crashing Into Parked Fire Truck While Wearing No Seatbelt

A 19-year old driving a 2012 Chevrolet Cruz crashed into a parked fire truck on I-75. 

The fire truck was stopped and was investigating a non-injury crash on the left lane of the roadway, when a truck crashed into the parked fire truck.

The driver, Dominique Horton, was pronounced dead at the scene. The other passenger was taken to the hospital and suffered from serious injuries. Four firefighters were in the fire truck at the time of the crash, but none were injured.  

The accident is still being investigated but speed, alcohol, and drugs are suspected to be factors in the crash.
