Tammy Sytch and her boyfriend are in the process of being sued by the estate of a 75-year-old man who was killed in a car accident that they were involved in on March 25th. A lawsuit was filed by the estate of Julian L. Lasseter in the state of Florida. The lawsuit is seeking in excess of $30,000 for damages.
The lawsuit claims that Sytch was negligent at the time of the accident and her boyfriend is also liable for allowing her to drive his motor vehicle. The suit also states that the family has suffered medical and funeral expenses at the hands of Sytch’s negligence. Lasseters daughter also explains that she is suffering now and will continue due to the loss of her father.
Authorities that responded to the scene stated Sytch crashed into Lasseter’s vehicle at a high speed. His vehicle was stopped at the time. This caused Lasseter to collide with a third vehicle. The individuals in the third vehicle were not hospitalized after the accident but complained of various minor bodily injuries. Authorities stated that Sytch did not have a valid driver’s license at the time of the car accident.
Sytch has not been arrested for the incident, but investigators have obtained a blood sample from her and are waiting on toxicology reports. Neither Sytch nor her boyfriend have responded to the lawsuit, and it is unclear whether the documents have officially been served yet.
