Ohio teen killed in a head-on collision in Butler County

A car accident is being investigated after a 15-year-old girl died from her injuries. Hallie Deaton was a student at Edgewood High School in Ohio before she was involved in a fatal car accident on Ohio 73.

The crash report stated that Hallie was riding in a Ford Mustang when the vehicle crossed over the center double line and collided with a pickup truck. The truck was being driven by a 36-year-old man accompanied by four children under the age of 12.

There were two 16-year-old boys and a 16-year-old girl riding in the Mustang with Hallie. The two were in the front seats wearing seat belts, while the girls in the back were not.

Hallie was trapped inside the vehicle and had to be pulled out by first responders. She was taken to Miami Valley Hospital, where she later died from her injuries.

A GoFundMe has been created to help Hallie’s family with her funeral expenses.
