Authorities reported that a Subaru collided with a skateboarder just before sunrise yesterday.
A 41-year-old man was riding his skateboard before he crashed into a driver that was traveling eastbound on South Foxepointe Drive near the Autumnwood intersection.
After investigating the incident, the Ferguson Township Police Department determined that the man did not stop at the stop sign and then crossed in front of the vehicle, causing the collision.
The skateboarder was transported by Geisinger LifeFlight to UPMC Altoona.
The driver of the Subaru was not injured and the investigation is ongoing.
