On Thursday morning in St. Louis Missouri, a box truck collided with a bicyclist and the victim died at the scene. The crash took place in the Clayton-Tamm neighborhood in St. Louis, Missouri.
The crash was just before 9 a.m. when the bicyclist was riding at the intersection, south of Tamm when a box truck struck him from the west on Manchester.
The man was in his 50s and was wearing proper protective gear, which was a helmet, knee pads, and gloves.
The man ended up being 130 feet from the intersection and callers have reported that it was a motorcycle or a pedestrian, but he was riding a bicycle powered by a battery.
Investigations are still being done to see if he stopped at the stopped sign and what was the cause of the crash. This is a significant factor in the investigation to know if the truck or the bicyclist caused the crash.
