Authorities responded to a fatal two vehicle accident today in Olga, Florida. The first vehicle was driven by a 68-year-old man and he had a 71-year-old passenger in his car. The second vehicle was a dump truck operated by a 55-year-old man.
The accident happened due to a failure to stop by the dump truck and running a red light. The sedan had a green light and was starting to go when the dump truck ran the red light and came to a broadside collision with the sedan.
The Sedan would come to a stop in the intersection and the dump truck would come to a stop further down the road. Unfortunately, both passengers of the sedan would be pronounced dead at the scene. The dump truck driver would suffer minor injuries.
