In Canton Texas, a man swerved into oncoming traffic in an attempt to “scare” another vehicle, causing a head-on collision.
The wreck happened 10 miles south of Canton in Van Zandt County. The driver was identified as Victor Alfonso Medina, who was driving a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado pickup when he struck Taylor Layne Raper who was 18-years old.
Medina was arrested and charged with manslaughter. Investigators say that Medina recognized Raper as an acquaintance and swerved over to the center road.
