Wrong Way Crash ends Family Vacation in Northern California

The Montano family was heading to the Grand Canyon on vacation, when they were struck by a driver who sped head-on into them.

The four people killed in Northern California included two children and their parents; 29 year old’s Brittney & Antonio Montano along with 9 year old daughter Marianna as well their 5 year old son Antonio Jr.

4 year old Julian survived his wounds after being strapped securely into car seat, unfortunately he lost both his parents and siblings.

The wrong-way driver is suspected of being under the influence. He injured two people, including himself with a crash near Eagle Lakes Road in Nevada County California just minutes after his report to 911 had been made at 5 am for an accident involving three other vehicles there according to CHP investigators who haven’t yet identified him but are calling this case unusual due that hour when everyone typically has gone home yet early morning commuters were still on their way into work

The boy was airlifted to Reno after an accident. He is expected to fully recover, his uncle said

The surviving child had extensive injuries including a broken leg which required surgery and fractures throughout his leg and ribs. Anthony & Michelle are currently staying with their nephew until it’s time for them all go home. They plan to adopt Julian.

“We’re going to take care of Julian the best that we can,” said Michelle Gonzalez on the television station. Her tears were a clear indication that this will not be an easy process but they are up for it nonetheless
